Results for week 5 of the Scottdale Church Dartball League: October 6, 2008.

First a few items to take care of:

1)       Make sure you paid Brad Herrington your $50 team dues before the end of October if you have not already.

2)       The website (www.scottdalechurchdartball.com) has a new look to it!  Check it out and let know if there are any mistakes.  I will continue to add more items as time allows this season.

Wire shots:

-          R. Geary hit the game winning home run in the top of the 14^th inning of game one for Reformed.

-          T. Johnson hit a two-out solo home run in the top of the 9^th of game one to get the win for Alverton.

-          Doc Rumbaugh hit a two out home run in the top of the 10^th of game three to win the game for Tyrone.

-          D. Krop had the game winning double in a 4-run 10^th inning of game 2 for Everson 2.

Off the Board:

-          Since hitting the cycle twice myself last week, and with Jr. Bloom almost doing it THIS week, I have taken it upon myself to copy write the term “bi-cycle” for anyone who hits two cycles in the same night.  Obviously “tri-cycle” will also be owned by me and anyone who wants to use it will have to pay me!

-          Copies of last year’s banquet are now available on DVD.  It includes all the awards and the speaker.  Contact Glenn if you are interested.

·         Jr. Bloom was a home run away from hitting the cycle twice.

·         G. Heller hit for the cycle.

·         Alverton hit 11 home runs on the night.

·         TUMC played with two John Does.

·         J. Harris hit for the cycle including an error!
